That butterfly fluttering, stomach flip LOVE you feel
when you look into your DOG’S eyes, captured FOREVER in Art

ACRYLIC ON CANVAS

PEN & INK WITH WATERCOLOUR

the Process

If I can I will come and meet your dog or you can come to me and let your loved one have a play in the dog field here! If you are not able to meet me then that’s not a problem at all, all I will need is as many photographs as possible, so that I can not only choose the right one for a portrait but also get a good idea of the ‘whole’ of your dog in different positions. I have painted portraits of Dogs from all over the world so no Dog is too far away for me.

Once we I have everything in place with regards to photos and you are happy to go ahead, I will ask for a 25% deposit and we’re good to go! The portrait will normally be ready for you within two weeks depending on size (some very large ones will take a little longer). If you are happy to I will keep you updated on progress via social media (Instagram and Facebook) so you can see the portrait take shape, though I won’t post the finished article until you have seen it for yourself.

Once your portrait is ready and you are happy with it, the remainder of the money will be payable along with any postage. You will then have an everlasting painting of your best friend!

If you are nearby I can also bring it to you, or once again you are welcome to collect it from Greta Loves Mabel central.

Testimonials

“Sally-Anne is such a talented artist.  I commissioned a painting of my Cavapoo, Biscuit and I was amazed at not only the end product but also the process.  Sally-Anne really wants to get a feel for the personality of the animal and asks for as many photos as possible before embarking on her artwork.  The end result is totally incredible.  There was so much life in Biscuit’s eyes it was like she was actually looking at me and the colours and detail were spot on.  Sally-Anne’s passion for animals certainly shines through her art.  I would highly recommend Sally-Anne if you are thinking about having a painting of your pet.  You will not be disappointed.”

“We had a wonderful portrait of our beloved dog Ted done by Sally which captured his character and “that look” that he used to give us. Now that Ted has gone, the picture hangs in our living room as a reminder of how wonderful he was. So glad we got it as it really captures who he was. “Sally was always destined to paint Ray, our boys shared a kennel at a local rescue centre both long term residents.  It was an obvious choice that Sally painted Ray. Sally captured the essence of our boy, his vibrancy and lust for life. Only a person with true talent and a soul to match can achieve such things. Thank you so much.”
